A Three-day Workshop on ‘Andragogical, Pedagogical and Research Skills’ was conducted at University of Baltistan, Skardu in collaboration with HEC, Islamabad. Dr Irshad Ali Director University of Baltistan, Skardu formally welcomed the distinguished guests to the varsity.

Dr. Ejaz Mirza and Professor Muntazar Mehdi from NUML Islamabad lectured on different topics of teaching and learning at the university level. This workshop was organized to inculcate Pedagogical, Andragogical, and research skills among the faculty members according to the changing trends in higher education. It was the first-ever capacity building workshop funded by HEC after the establishment of the University of Baltistan, Skardu arranged by the Department of Languages and Cultural Studies. All the respected HODs and faculty members enthusiastically attended the sessions incessantly without considering the weekend.

The workshop started on 11th May 2018 and came to its end on 13th May 2018 with the formal closing ceremony. Honorable guest speakers and the Director University of Baltistan, Dr. Irshad Ali, expressed their professional and experiential views and shared their thought-provoking ideas and expertise during the closing ceremony. The worthy resource persons and Director Baltistan University presented Certificates of Participation to all the faculty members in the closing ceremony. In the end, the Director of UOBS, Dr. Irshad Ali offered shields to the resource persons on behalf of the varsity.
