Applications are invited from eligible candidates against the following faculty/administrative positions at the University of Baltistan, Skardu GB. The applications must reach the office of the undersigned by February 12, 2024.

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. All the candidates are advised to download the application form available on the university website uobs.edu.pk/careers . The candidates are required to download the form, fill it in, and submit it to the Registrar’s Office along with all required/desired documents. Applications are accepted only by hand or through courier. Applicants must receive a duly signed and stamped receipt of document submission from the Registrar’s office.
2. Applicants are required to deposit a non-refundable application processing fee of Rs. 3000/- (for BPS-19/TTS and above) and Rs. 1500/- (for BPS-18) in the name of  University of Baltistan, Skardu. The payment should be made to HabibMetropolitan Bank  Collection ID: 257; or BankIslami Pakistan Account No: 310300041890136. This fee can be deposited at any branch across Pakistan. Please submit one copy of the payment slip during the form submission. For applicants from abroad, the fee may be submitted in US Dollars via bank draft
3. Incomplete or applications received after the due date will not be entertained.
4. The University reserves the right not to fill/withdraw/change any number of positions/withhold the appointment against any advertised post without assigning any reason.
5. The candidate already in Government Service must submit NOC with the application form, otherwise his or her application shall not be entertained as a Government employee.
6. A certificate of teaching experience at a postgraduate or university, in the relevant subject duly issued from the office of the Competent Authority, must be submitted along with the application form. No advantage, whatsoever, will be given if Experience Certificates are not attached.
7. The Candidates must submit HEC Equivalence Certificate(s) with the application form, where applicable, otherwise, their applications will not be entertained/considered.
8. All appointments are subject to verification of their degrees from HEC.
9. The evaluation of the Scrutiny Committee shall be considered final and only short-listed candidates will be called for interview.
10. General age relaxation shall be given to applicants as per the Federal Government age relaxation policy.
11. Applications, complete in all respects, must be submitted by hand or through courier during office time not later than February 12, 2024. Applications shall be submitted only in the Office of the Registrar at the Main Campus Hussainabad. Applicants who submit their forms by hand must receive an acknowledgment receipt from the Registrar’s Office at the time of form submission.
12. All communications during the selection process (call for interview/test etc.) with the candidates will be made through official email.
13. No TA/DA will be admissible.
