Introduction
The Office of the Project Director at the University of Baltistan, Skardu is responsible for coordinating, supervising, and monitoring major university development projects. The office works closely with the University administration, Higher Education Commission (HEC), consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that development projects are implemented efficiently and in accordance with approved plans and standards.
The Project Director Office focuses on project execution, progress monitoring, coordination with implementing agencies, quality control, documentation, and timely completion of approved development components. The office also facilitates project reviews and follows up on technical and administrative matters related to ongoing university infrastructure projects.

The office is committed to quality construction, efficient project management, compliance with approved designs and specifications, and coordination with HEC, consultants, contractors, and relevant university authorities.

Objectives
- Develop comprehensive short-term and long-term master plans for campus development and extensions
- Secure funding for infrastructure and development projects from HEC, PSDP, and international donors
- Monitor and ensure timely completion of all development projects within approved budgets
- Implement sustainable and eco-friendly practices in all construction and development initiatives
- Ensure optimal utilization of university land, buildings, and other resources
- Promote sustainable practices and academic/research innovations
